Racepak non-contact infra-red temperature sensors are designed specifically for the motorsports market. These compact but rugged sensors are capable of monitoring temperature data for a variety of surfaces. The non-contact design is well-suited for stationary or moving surface temperatures, such as tire or race track surfaces. They have a 4:1 ratio focal point, e.g., when the surface being monitored is four inches away from a sensor, the focal point will be one inch in diameter.
